Vira Vaysberg was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.
She has studied in T.G. Shevchenko’s Republican School of Art (Kiev). She also studied painting in Moscow. Since 1987 Vira Vaysberg is a participant in the national fine art exhibitions in Ukraine. Since 1989 she had a numerous dedicated exhibitions in Kiev. In 1998 Vira Vaysberg launched a Fine Art Studio for children and adults in the Jewish Cultural Centre (Kiev), and taught there up until 2002, when she moved to Hamburg, Germany. She becomes a member of the Federal Artist Union of Germany in 2004. Since 2004 and until 2010 Vira Vaysberg worked as an artist in the project “Musical Journeys”, and taught children to paint in “Klick-Kindermuseum” (Hamburg). In recent years she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, Schleswig, Glinde, among others at the 1 Internationale Biennale Hamburg 2012. Since 2013 - Collaboration with Artodrome Gallery, Berlin. Since 2010 writes Vira Vaysberg essays and articles that have been published in the leading Ukrainian media autlets.
The paintings of Vira Vaysberg are to find in the Museum of the History of Kiev (Ukraine), “Klick-Kindermuseum” (Germany), Cardiff University (United Kingdom), American Psychiatric Association (Washington, USA) and in a number private collections all around the world.
